As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group. Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Vietnam, Korea, Kosovo, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns.

Loyalty Day Ceremony

Date: 2 May 2026 at 10:00

The Loyalty Day Ceremony will be held on 2 May 2026, at the Nashua Senior Center, 70 Temple St., Nashua, NH. We will be presenting awards to a Firefighter, Police Officer, EMT, and students that participated in the VFW's Voice of Democracy and Patriot Pen essay contests. The event is open to the public. Lunch will follow the program. The program begins at 10:00 AM. Free parking is available on site.

Patriot's Pen Entry Form

Official 2025-2026 entry form. Needs to be submitted by October 31, 2025. Grand prize: $5,000.

Attention Middle and High School Students!

The new Voice of Democracy (High School) and Patriot Pen (Middle School) program is now online. The QR codes for the two programs are shown on the form. Scan it and follow the directions to submit your essay entry. When submitting your essay online everything required must be submitted to qualify. If you cannot or are not able to scan you may still submit your entry the old way. Those forms are shown also. Deadline for submission is 31 October 2025.

VFW Activity Reporting Worksheet

Complete the form by inserting the information asked for. Report any community activity you do, hospital or nursing home visits, patriotic events other than VFW events, assistance to veterans, publicity, safety, youth activity or any other activity or event you participate in. Email or drop off the completed report to the post.
