As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group. Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in the Persian Gulf, Vietnam, Korea, Kosovo, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns.

4th of July Ceremony

Date: 4 July 2025 at 9:00

The veterans organizations of Nashua will hold its second annual 4th of July ceremony in front of City Hall on 4 July 2025, at 0900. Event is open to the public.

Veterans Coffee Talk

Date: 11 July 2025 at 09:30

The second Friday of every month at 0930, on the second floor of the Nashua Senior Center at 70 Temple Street, Nashua, NH.

Mayor's Veteran Council

Date: 14 July 2025 at 14:00

The Mayor's Veteran Council is held in room 208 at City Hall, Mayor's Office at 10:00am on the second Monday of every other month. Meetings are scheduled for January, March, May, July, September and November 2025.

Monthly Meetings

Date: 22 July 2025 at 19:00

Join us the 4th Tuesday of every month, at 1900, for our regular meetings.

Veterans Day

Date: 11 November 2025

Events for the day will be: Coffee and donuts at the Post at 0700. Monument Ceremonies beginning at 0800 and the Veterans Day Parade starting at 1111 from Holman Stadium. Followed by a luncheon for parade participants at the Nashua Adult Learning Center, 4 Lake St., Nashua, NH.

Patriot's Pen Entry Form

Official 2025-2026 entry form. Needs to be submitted by October 31, 2025. Grand prize: $5,000.

Attention Middle and High School Students!

The new Voice of Democracy (High School) and Patriot Pen (Middle School) program is now online. The QR codes for the two programs are shown on the form. Scan it and follow the directions to submit your essay entry. When submitting your essay online everything required must be submitted to qualify. If you cannot or are not able to scan you may still submit your entry the old way. Those forms are shown also. Deadline for submission is 31 October 2025.

VFW Activity Reporting Worksheet

Complete the form by inserting the information asked for. Report any community activity you do, hospital or nursing home visits, patriotic events other than VFW events, assistance to veterans, publicity, safety, youth activity or any other activity or event you participate in. Email or drop off the completed report to the post.
